About Dr Simon Pilbrow
Mornington Peninsula Doctor
Originally from the UK, I have lived in Melbourne most of my life. After graduating from Monash University in 1985, I spent a number of years in the hospital system, four years doing cancer research gaining a PhD, before entering general practice full time in 1992, obtaining my Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 1996.

I was involved in the post-bushfire medical clinic at Kinglake after the Black Saturday fires, and had a long run as the guest GP on a community radio health program.

I have worked in general practice in Rosebud since1988. I have wide medical interests within the full range of family general practice, including skin cancer (skin checks and excision) and I enjoy treating patients of all ages.

If I'm not treating you in the clinic or visiting patients in the aged care facilities, you may very well find me playing jazz on the piano, writing music, out in the yard or spending time with my family.
